I am originally from India and currently live in London with my husband. I have acquired a taste for travelling and exploring from my husband, I love to read and often wonder and muse about inconsequential things and banalities of life. I have an amazing set of friends who patiently listen to my incessant musings and wondering about life. I thought I should start a blog and send my wonderings and musings, in to ether. All the photographs used on the blog are my experimental photography using I phone and I Pad. Hope you enjoy reading the blog.

  1. Usha I always knew Thanjavur for the famous tanjore paintings, never even imagined it has such a rich history. So happy the city had the same effect on you even after so many years.

  2. Good to learn so much about the Emperor Raja Raja Chola..
I find the history of Chola Emperors quite intriguing. They had been ruling since before the time of the Mauryan Empire and continued for about a Millennium and more.
I am waiting for the movie on Ponniyin Selvam. Hope it will be a Magnum Opus..!!

      1. 😊
I had always been intrigued by them. Thankfully, due to my MBA studies in Trichy, I got the opportunity to discover the two gems of Chola Architecture and learn a bit more about them.. 😊
